Giorgio Armani tends to stay loyal to his campaign photographers for a few seasons at a time. Over recent years, photographic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott were enlisted for two consecutive seasons, followed by Paolo Roversi who captured both Giorgio Armani’s Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 fashion spots. For the Spring 2024 season, Mr. Armani is in the mood for change once again, calling upon Dutch photographer Carlijn Jacobs. A switch up in the casting occurs too, with models Quinn Mora and Sora Choi fronting the campaign, who each pose amongst a minimalist set, allowing Giorgio Armani’s Spring 2024 collection to shine through.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“I like it, it will look nice in print,” voiced Urban Stylin the second the campaign came to light.
“It’s very Armani, so nothing wrong about this,” declared ivano.
Sharing the same positive attitude toward the outcome was vogue28, adding: “The more I see of this campaign, the more I become an admirer. Admittedly, I began to love Paolo Roversi’s Giorgio Armani campaigns but can appreciate the switch to Carlijn Jacobs. At the end of the day, the images themselves still feel quintessential Armani. The use of lighting is a nice touch, and the coloring is beautiful. sleek, minimal and with subtle flashes of Nick Knight.”
“Gorgeous, very Armani,” applauded dontbeadrag, echoing the sentiments of everyone else.
